Maiking Greenfield & the Valley Home

While living in Salem Dan first came to Greenfield while visiting his wife's family.  Instantly feeling like the Pioneer Valley was home. Over the next few years weekend trips became the norm. Distinctly remembering anticipating fresh smells and cool air from the forests. Now settled into the area, he has made it a big part of his life to get involved in many aspects of the community and plant his roots. He is excited to help you find your home in the Valley.

Planting roots into the Greenfield Community

Greenfield Recreation Commission

Growing up, Dan was very active in sports in his hometown. Playing in any league he could fit into his schedule many of which were run through his local parks department. Moving to Greenfield and buying a home he wanted to help out locally. Over the years since, he has volunteered at many events such as Winter Carnival, Tri-Athlon, July 4th Fireworks and helped plan the Soapbox Derby. In the spring of 2023 he took the next step and was sworn in as a member of the Recreation Commission. Check them out here https://www.greenfieldrecreation.com

Volunteering at Just Roots

Dan's family has always maintained a home vegetable garden. Continuing on with the family tradition he has always had some sort of garden even in his apartments in the busy city life of Eastern Ma. now with a yard of his own he has built over 150 sqft of raised beds and more then double that in flower beds. When the opportunity arose to help at the community run farm Just Roots there was no hesitation. With a focus on providing fresh produce for those in the community the farm has become a huge part of the greater Greenfield Community. Please check them out at just roots.org
